We are delighted to have as our keynote speaker Hon. Maria Araujo Kahn, Justice, Connecticut Supreme Court. She is a 1989 graduate of Fordham Law School, a NAPLA member. UConn Law School Dean Timothy Fisher and Connecticut State Bar Association President Karen DeMeola will also speak at the dinner. Don't miss it!
Do your advisees ever ask you whether they should take constitutional law since they will have to take it again in law school? Yale Professor Akhil Amar will headline a panel of professors who will discuss the different objectives in college and law school courses on constitutional law, and what considerations should guide undergrads in choosing courses in this area. Also on the panel is former NAPLA President Kyle Kopko.
The 2019 NAPLA Conference will take place in Boston from Tuesday, June 18 through Friday, June 21. The 2020 Conference will be administered by PLANC and the location has not yet been chosen.
